OUR STORY
One of the common questions I get is "How long have you been detailing"? I started detailing cars with my Dad when I was 16 and then started doing it on my own around 2011. At the time I had a 2010 Ford Fusion and I wanted to take great care of it. Like most people do, I started watching you tube videos, reaching out to local detailers in my area and then right away I started purchasing products and tools. Detailing was very fun, relaxing and rewarding. Soon after, my neighbors saw me washing my car in the driveway while they were walking their dogs and stopped to ask me how much would I charge them to do their vehicle.
And BOOM..Then is where it all began. I started with about 2-3 customers a month and after the summer of 2016, the business took an immediate boost and before I knew it I was detailing 75% of the cars in my subdivision. I was working a day job, going to U of M (Go Blue) at night and detailing on the weekend so as you can imagine I was extremely busy. I decided to change my Major to Communications because I learned very quickly that the #1 pain for customers is that business owners do not communicate effectively.
I'm so grateful for the customer base I established in my old neighborhood because those customers helped grow my business tremendously. I went on to take a few business management courses and finished my Master's degree with Denson Auto Detail & Glass at the center of my education.
